We check the pressure of the fire extinguisher.

We vibration test the guage to make sure of a true reading and check it for damage.

We clean the hose and check for clogs and cracks.

We check the handle for proper function.

We check the pin for bends and easy removal.

We check the fire extinguisher for dents and corrosion.

We check the serial number, by law all fire extinguishers must have a legible serial number.

We check the instruction label. All fire extinguishers must have on the front operating instructions.

Every 6 Years

We discharge your fire extinguisher and totally take it apart and check all parts and powder.Then we clean the fire extinguisher, perform a fire extinguisher refill, and we recharge it. If the fire extinguisher has been used during fire suppression activities, even just once and not until it was emptied, it should be recharged RIGHT AWAY.

Every 12 Years

We discharge your fire extinguisher and totally take it apart and check all parts and powder. Then we hydrostatic test your cylinder. The we clean the fire extinguisher, refill it with new powder and recharge it.

Then, and only then, if it passes this rigorous fire extinguisher inspection, we certify the fire extinguisher!
